How to measure biodiversity? One of the possibilities is to use DNA. The mention of DNA can hint evolution, but this question is much more complicated and beyond the proposition of a biodiversity measure. The reasons stated for use DNA instead of other possible molecules could be that it is stable and responsible for the transmission of traits to future generations. But another reason is simple that it is suitable for measures. First, due to universality among all living things.
The presented model of operations capacity planning allows obtaining quantitative dimensions of the service system parameters for Administrative Services Centre. A methodology for the practical application of this model has also been presented here. The present paper aims at offering support for operations managers in the service sector for decision making regarding the operations capacity. The paper was presented at 7th annual International scientific conference "New dimensions in the development of society", held in Jelgava, Latvia, in 2011.
This paper is a case study of capacity strengthening activities carried out at the Agricultural Research Corporation in Sudan between July 2008 and March 2011. These activities were undertaken through the project ‘Strengthening Capacity for Agricultural Research and Development (SCARDA)’ which was implemented in the East and Central Africa region by the Association for Strengthening Agricultural Research in East and Central Africa.
This document aims to guide a small team tasked to assess the capacity for agricultural innovation in a multi-stakeholder context. The context might be an actual or potential “innovation platform” such as the three commodity-based platforms selected for the piloting capacity assessment methods, or it might be a project or programme that is more generally focused on strengthening of innovation within a subsector of agriculture within a country, such as livestock or horticulture.
- Ce qu’il faut mesurer;
- Comment mesurer l’impact des projets: quelles méthodes sont employées;
- L’évaluation systémique d’impact;
