El documento destaca iniciativas innovadoras, en ámbitos como la formulación de políticas, el desarrollo de marcos legales, el fomento de la investigación y la innovación, el desarrollo de mecanismos de financiamiento, y la gestión de riesgos climáticos, entre otros. This report compiles country-reports that describe the agri-food research landscape in 2006/2007 in 33 countries associated to the 6th Framework Programme (FP6), which defined the European for the period from 2002 to 2006. Each country-report presents information about the main research players in 2006/2007 and about the current trends and the future needs for research topics and for the organisation of the agri-food research system.

This report presents the results of a study that shall contribute to provide information on the national organisation of agricultural research and an overall picture of developments in agricultural research in 33 selected countries (current EU28 plus Iceland, Israel, Norway, Switzerland and Turkey). The study covers all areas related to agricultural and food research research including research dedicated to emerging challenges of the European agricultural and food sector in 2006/2007.
The ‘Mapping Report’ is the synthesis of the statistical information and the survey results available to describe agrifood research in European countries. The main source of information was the results of a bibliometric analysis (in the EU-33 countries), a web-assisted survey (in the EU-12+2 countries) and the country reports (for the EU-15 countries) prepared in the AgriMapping project frame in 2006 and 2007. When relevant, available complementary statistics were also used.
This paper has been prepared under the guidelines provided by the TAP Secretariat at the FAO, as a contribution to the G20 initiative TAP, which includes near 40 partners and is facilitated by FAO. Its purpose is to provide a Regional synthesis report on capacity needs assessment for agricultural innovation, with capacity gaps identified and analyzed, including recommendations to strengthen agricultural innovation systems (AIS) and draft policy recommendations to address the capacity gaps.
Este trabajo busca evaluar el impacto de la primera fase del Programa Agroambiental Mesoamericano, a partir de la adopción de las tecnologías agrícolas propuestas por el PIH en el territorio del Trifinio (área fronteriza entre Honduras, El Salvador y Guatemala), desde dos aproximaciones metodológicas, una cuantitativa y otra cualitativa.
El objetivo de la investigación es identificar las principales estrategias sociales y productivas utilizadas por las fincas cafetaleras que ha logrado sobrellevar las crisis del sector en El Salvador. Tomando en cuenta la productividad promedio en quintales por manzana, la cual ha pasado de nueve quintales en la cosecha 2008-2009 a tres en la cosecha 2013-2014. El estudio se planteó como un diagnóstico basado en documentación secundaria y recopilación de datos primarios como entrevistas y grupos focales con productores del sector representativos del problema al que se buscó responder.
