This document provides an investment plan for climate-smart agriculture (CSA) in Mali, developed with support of the AAA Initiative and the World Bank, and technical assistanceof the International Center for Tropical Agriculture, the World Agroforestry Centre and the CGIAR Research Program on Agriculture, Climate Change and Food Security (CCAFS). It identifies specific interventions that define on-the-ground action that are consistent with Mali’s NDC and national agricultural strategy, which can be funded by public and private sector partners.
Este documento describe la memoria del taller etapa II del proyecto regional RED SICTA que busca contribuir con la implementación del proceso de formación y desarrollo de capacidades de la red nacional de innovación tecnológica en diseño de su estrategia de sostenibilidad y gestión de proyectos, en la movilización de recursos para las cadenas de maíz y frijol con enfoque territorial en Nicaragua.
Este estudio forma parte de un conjunto de esfuerzos que realiza el Proyecto IICA-Red SICTA-Cooperación Suiza, por actualizar el conocimiento del estado actual de las cadenas de maíz blanco y frijol en la región. De esta manera se ofrece una herramienta para una mejor comprensión de las dinámicas y condiciones existentes de los actores, las iniciativas en marcha y los problemas, para orientar a soluciones prácticas en sintonía con la realidad.
El presente estudio es una herramienta técnica para orientar los esfuerzos de las redes nacionales de innovación tecnológica en Honduras, y tiene como objetivo identificar la problemática y la agenda para la innovación tecnológica de los actores de la cadena de maíz en el país.

The note posits an idea that as the domestic market for many of these products is saturated, Albanian fruits and vegetables have been gaining ground in the Western Balkans and are well positioned to make headway in the EU-28 market as well.

This report seeks to support the larger jobs study by examining how investment in South Sudan’s food sector can not only address food security needs, it can generate income and lay the foundation for livelihood and job creation in the country. It argues that applying a value chain lens to investments in the sector can contribute to creating direct, indirect, and induced labor in the food system. The goal is to move the country from a dependency on humanitarian aid to building recovery and resilience in the short term in a way that can produce stable jobs over the medium to long term.
