Este articulo tiene como objetivo evaluar el entorno para la innovación en el estado de Zacatecas, para alcanzar este logro el estudio buscó recolectar la información secundaria necesaria para la identiciación de las cadenas productivas relevantes en el estado de Zacatecas. Así como caracterizar las cadenas prioritarias en su importancia socioeconómica y productiva, con el objeto de jerarquizarlas y también comparar la infomación obtenida para el año 2009 con la publicada en el 2004.
La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo reconocer los tipos de tecnologías y cómo influyen en la productividad del maíz en el municipio de estudio. En la recopilación de información se aplicó una encuesta a una muestra representativa de productores en 2009. Para analizar la información se clasifico a los productores de acuerdo a los niveles de uso de tecnología utilizando el índice de apropiación de tecnologías modernas (IATM) y el grado de empleo de tecnologías campesinas (GETC)
El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar a través de la información estadística obtenida por el VIII Censo Agrícola, Ganadero y Forestal del año 2007, la importancia que tiene la asistencia técnica en las unidades de producción en México para contar con elementos que sirvan en la toma de decisiones de éste servicio. The Sourcebook is the outcome of joint planning, continued interest in gender and agriculture, and concerted efforts by the World Bank, FAO, and IFAD. The purpose of the Sourcebook is to act as a guide for practitioners and technical staff inaddressing gender issues and integrating gender-responsive actions in the design and implementation of agricultural projects and programs. It speaks not with gender specialists on how to improve their skills but rather reaches out to technical experts to guide them in thinking through how to integrate gender dimensions into their operations.
The purposes of this course are to review the major reforms being considered internationally that aim to change the policy and institutional structure and operations of public sector agricultural extension systems, and to examine the advantages and disadvantages of each of these reforms as illustrated by the selected case studies. Aside from the introductory chapter, the course is organized into nine modules, which are conceived as part of a larger framework.
Cette publication offre de nombreux exemples concrets détaillant différentes manières de réengager les jeunes dans le secteur agricole. Elle montre à quel point des programmes éducationnels sur mesure peuvent offrir aux jeunes les compétences et la perspicacité nécessaires pour se lancer en agriculture et adopter des méthodes de production respectueuses de l’environnement. Beaucoup des approches ou des initiatives décrites dans cette publication sont issues des jeunes eux-mêmes.
This publication contains twelve modules which cover a selection of major reform measures in agricultural extension being promulgated and implemented internationally, such as linking farmers to markets, making advisory services more demand-driven, promoting pluralistic advisory systems, and enhancing the role of advisory services within agricultural innovation systems.
This study aims at inspiring the success of further agricultural innovation policies. Findings fromthis study will provide useful inputs for researchers, governments, the private sector, donors, and other stakeholders to improve policy-maker engagement processes for innovations to ensure appropriate development and dissemination of innovation and maximise their socioeconomic impacts on the wider population.
The importance of extension services in helping smallholder farmers to address the many challenges of agricultural production cannot be over-emphasized. However, relatively few studies have been conducted that investigate how the capacities of agricultural extension agents can be built to more effectively assist smallholder farmers in managing climate risks and impacts. As climate change is a key threat to smallholder food production, addressing this issue is increasingly important.
