Ce rapport final dresse le bilan des activités scientifiques engagées dans le cadre du projet Adap’Terr « L’adaptation au changement climatique : les défis d’une approche intégrée pour les territoires ? ». Ce volume de synthèse, présentant les principaux résultats, s’organise en trois parties. Une première partie précise certaines questions que posent pour l’aménagement et l’urbanisme l’action climatique locale, afin de développer un cadre conceptuel en mesure d’analyser les initiatives locales face au « problème climat ».
This brief provides an overview of the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) system of the CGIAR Research Program on Aquatic Agricultural Systems (AAS) and describes how the M&E system is designed to support the program to achieve its goals. The AAS program aims to improve the lives of 22 million people dependent upon aquatic agricultural systems by 2024 through research in development.
Du fait de leur transversalité et de leur objet, l'évaluation des politiques de développement territorial ne peut pas s'appuyer sur les outils utilisés pour évaluer les politiques sectorielles. Les questions procédurales sont très largement dominantes, les dispositifs portant essentiellement sur la gouvernance et la coordination. Pour évaluer une démarche procédurale, il convient de préciser le référentiel d’évaluation à la fois en termes du quoi et du comment évaluer.
L’agriculture de conservation (AC) obéit à trois principes : travail du sol minimal, couverture du sol permanente et multiculture. Partant de ses avantages avérés pour l’écologie du sol, la séquestration de carbone et son adoption massive dans quelques régions du monde, elle est présentée par ses promoteurs comme un système durable convenant à tous contextes. Dès lors elle a été mondialement diffusée au nom du développement durable.
En este artículo se presenta y discute la información fruto de los talleres realizados durante el 2007 y 2008 en los Centros Locales de Innovación Agropecuaria (CLIA), con la participación de productores y otros actores locales en nueve provincias del occidente, centro y oriente cubano. Se muestra el caso del CLIA Las Tunas.
En el marco del desarrollo del proyecto internacional Diseminación del Fitomejoramiento Participativo en Cuba, programa para fortalecer la Innovación Agropecuaria Local (PIAL) III Fase, y como parte de las herramientas de monitoreo y evaluación se elaboró una metodología para evaluar la influencia del contexto local sobre los impactos del proyecto. This working paper represents work‐in‐progress of the CBFC project (Community‐based Fish Culture in Seasonal Floodplains and Irrigation Systems), a research project supported by the Challenge Program on Water and Food (CPWF), with the aim of increasing productivity of seasonally occurring water bodies through aquaculture.The project has been implemented in Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Mali and Vietnam, where technical and institutional options for community based aquaculture have been tested. The project began in 2005 and was completed in March 2010.
Based on eleven case studies from Africa, Asia, and Latin America, this report describes farmer-led research findings and their dissemination, and analyzes available evidence on the impact of farmer-led approaches to agricultural research and development on rural livelihoods, local capacity to innovate and adapt, and influence on governmental institutions of agricultural research and development.
The CGIAR Research Program on Aquatic Agricultural Systems (AAS) is a research in development program which aims to foster innovation to respond to community needs, and through networking and social learning to bring about development outcomes and impact at scale. It aims to reach the poorest and most vulnerable communities that are dependent upon aquatic agricultural systems. AAS uses monitoring and evaluation to track progress along identified impact pathways for accountability and learning.
Innovation Platforms in the Aquaculture Value Chain in Egypt was presented at the National Aquaculture Innovation Platform Workshop, Cairo, 19-20 February 2014. It is a CGIAR Research Program on Livestock and Fish that aims to increase the productivity of small-scale livestock and fish systems in sustainable ways, making meat, milk and fish more available and affordable across the developing world.
