The purpose of this article is to investigate effective reformism: strategies that innovation networks deploy to create changes in their environment in order to establish a more conducive context for the realization and durable embedding of their innovation projects. Using a case study approach, effective reformism efforts are analyzed in a technological innovation trajectory related to the implementation of a new poultry husbandry system and an organizational innovation trajectory concerning new ways of co-operation among individual farms to establish economies of scale.

Face à la dégradation des ressources naturelles, opter vivre dans son milieu natal et s'assurer une bonne production agropastorale nécessite de la part des acteurs des actions concertées. Le projet Fertipartenaires aide les producteurs de cette province à se concerter, à réfléchir à leurs problèmes, proposer et expérimenter des solutions et les évaluer afin d'améliorer leur sécurité alimentaire.
This brochure presents the UNDP approach to supporting capacity development and the policy statements that UNDP supports. These are backed up by ongoing research and analysis of capacity development theory, methods and applications. The services included are examples of capacity development initiatives that can be supported by UNDP or its partners. Este documento describe herramientas que se han diseñado para aumentar la orientación a la demanda y mejorar la efectividad del apoyo al desarrollo de la capacidad (DC), incluida en la Estrategia de la Comisión Europea para la reforma de la cooperación técnica (CT). Las herramientas se usan habitualmente en formación y talleres y también sirven de orientación a la hora de evaluar la capacidad y ayudar a los socios a desarrollar estrategias y programas de DC, especialmente a escala sectorial.
Este manual incluye muy diversas herramientas y metodologías para promover el dialogo social constructivo e incluyente, el cambio de las organizaciones, la promoción de redes y alianzas para alcanzar objetivos de paz, la planeación, el seguimiento y la evaluación orientados a impactos. Todos estos temas, desde la perspectiva de la larga experiencia de trabajo de GTZ en el mundo, están muy relacionados con las capacidades necesarias para la construcción de paz.
This Module is the first in a series of four that address capacity development competencies in FAO. It is intended to provide FAO staff and consultants with a basic understanding and knowledge of Capacity Development (CD), reflecting the international debate as well as FAO’s perspective on CD. It also provides some key concepts for adopting changes in responsibilities, behaviours and attitudes that are consistent with FAO’s new role in CD.

Farmers Training Center (FTC)-based farmer training is an emerging extension strategy geared towards human capital development through need-based, hands-on practical training in order to facilitate agricultural transformation and rural livelihood improvement. Although FTCs were established and made functional in the Tigray National Regional State and Alamata Woreda no systematic assessment of the relevance and effectiveness of the training were made.
