Este manual incluye muy diversas herramientas y metodologías para promover el dialogo social constructivo e incluyente, el cambio de las organizaciones, la promoción de redes y alianzas para alcanzar objetivos de paz, la planeación, el seguimiento y la evaluación orientados a impactos. Todos estos temas, desde la perspectiva de la larga experiencia de trabajo de GTZ en el mundo, están muy relacionados con las capacidades necesarias para la construcción de paz.
African agriculture is currently at a crossroads, at which persistent food shortages are compounded by threats from climate change. But, as this book argues, Africa can feed itself in a generation and help contribute to global food security. To achieve this Africa has to define agriculture as a force in economic growth by: advancing scientific and technological research; investing in infrastructure; fostering higher technical training; and creating regional markets.

The purposes of this course are to review the major reforms being considered internationally that aim to change the policy and institutional structure and operations of public sector agricultural extension systems, and to examine the advantages and disadvantages of each of these reforms as illustrated by the selected case studies.
