WhatsApp sends real-time messages and is one of the world’s most popular communication applications in the 21st century. The present study highlights and examines the domestication of WhatsApp among farmers. An exhaustive whatsapp user list was prepared from each village and 3 farmers were selected with the help of systematic sampling technique. Thus, 90 farmers from the 3 blocks of the district using whatsapp were purposively selected and grouped for sending the messages of agricultural aspects. The study was conducted at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Neemuch during 2016-17.
This brochure presents startup profiles, an incubatee coffee table book which captures the brief profile of agriculture startups being incubated at a-IDEA, the Technology Business Incubator of National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (ICAR-NAARM) supported by Department of Science & Technology of India. The honey production in Mexico is a relevant activity of the livestock subsector, due to the generation of jobs and income in the agricultural sector, as well as its contribution of foreign exchange. In the period from 2005 to 2015 the average annual production was 58 thousand tons, which fluctuated between 55 and 62 thousand tons. This has placed Mexico as the eighth largest producer in the world and the third exporting country.
La producción de miel en México es una actividad relevante del subsector pecuario, debido a la generación de empleos e ingresos en el sector agrícola, así como por su aporte de divisas. En el periodo de 2005 a 2015 la producción promedio anual fue de 58 mil toneladas, misma que fluctuó entre las 55 y 62 mil toneladas. Lo anterior ha ubicado a México como el octavo productor a nivel mundial y el tercer país exportador.
El objetivo de este estudio fue analizar el proceso de gestión de conocimiento e innovación de la cadena ovinos en Villa Victoria, Estado de México. Mediante diagnóstico participativo y análisis de redes se analizó información de 63 productores para identificar la problemática e innovaciones implementadas y proponer estrategias de desarrollo de capacidades para incrementar el uso de tecnologías.
El objetivo de este trabajo fue establecer una línea base que sirva como referencia para evaluaciones posteriores del impacto del programa mencionado en el estado de Coahuila. Para obtener la información de la línea base se siguió la metodología empleada por la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Agricultura y la Alimentación (FAO) consistente en la aplicación de cuestionario diseñado por la misma institución y complementados por la Entidades Consultoras Estatales (ECE) y los Comités Técnicos Estatales de Evaluación (CTEC).
In Mexico there are public programs that promote the improvement of the technical and productive conditions of the agriculture sector through organisations such as Produce Foundation Puebla (FUPPUE). This organisation has implemented diverse mechanisms oriented to promoting farmers' technological and productive capabilities. However in some cases when the FUPPUE leaves them, farmers' capabilities and performance decrease within a short period of time.
