Agriculture is central to Ethiopian economy but its sustainable development faces enormous challenges. Low innovation capacity, low productivity, dwindling natural resources and climate change, small-scale subsistence farming, and low levels of market integration and value addition have all made agricultural development more complex. In spite of the decades of research and development efforts, the rate of growth for both crop and livestock productivity has remained low.
The citizens of Lesotho rely on a complex web of livelihood strategies made primarily of family kinships and strong community networks. Recently, community breakdowns have occurred because of extensive land degradation, soil erosion, widespread poverty, and HIV/AIDs. Este estudio de caso analizó el proceso de innovación tecnológica en la producción familiar olivícola del departamento Pocito, San Juan, Argentina. El trabajo se basó en un enfoque cuanti-cualitativo, se utilizó como método de investigación el estudio de caso y la unidad de análisis se constituyó por las unidades olivícolas familiares. Las técnicas de recolección de información fueron el análisis documental, la encuesta estructurada, la entrevista en profundidad y la observación directa. Para el análisis de la información se utilizaron estadísticos descriptivos y un análisis multivariado.
El objetivo de esa tesis es identificar, caracterizar, analizar y definir los modelos de toma de decisiones en los modelos de organización productiva del Noreste de la Provincia de La Pampa (Departamentos Chapaleufú, Trenel y Maracó), como aporte para la mejora de la gestión del Sistema de Extensión Rural y Transferencia de Tecnología del Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria
