El uso de las tecnologías de la información y comunicación se ha convertido en un elemento clave para la difusión de información así como una herramienta en la transferencia del conocimiento del desarrollo agrícola. Siendo fundamental analizar las habilidades de los extensionistas agrícolas en el uso de las TIC para brindar la asistencia técnica agrícola. Para esté análisis se elaboró y aplicó una encuesta a 149 asesores técnicos de los estados de Chiapas y Oaxaca en el año 2013.
Este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar y discutir qué tecnologías tradicionales utilizan los campesinos de pequeño porte y si en las últimas siete décadas se ha realizado investigaciones y transferencias de nuevas tecnologías para estos agricultores.
In this paper, we examine the effectiveness of e-tendering system for pigeon pea in Karnataka and explore stakeholders’ perceptions regarding online trading to better understand the challenges in implementation of this innovative agricultural marketing initiative. Rest of the paper is organized as follows: Section 2 provides background on e-tendering process in Karnataka. Data and methodology are discussed in the third section, fourth section presents the results, and is followed by the section discussing the salient findings and lessons learnt.
In this paper is proposed to conduct a first stage AKIS diagnostic exercise developing a map of the system of the actors involved in water quality protection and catchment management that interact with the farming community. Specifically we will use the tool to understand: (a) Who are the players? (b) What roles do they have? (c) what is their position in the Innovation System. A key part in changing the regulatory or public incentive system is to change the behaviour not only of the farmers but also of the policy makers to facilitate the movement to a more localised approach.

The aim of this research is to explore the different policy frameworks adopted by the Italian regions to support cooperation for innovation projects in RDPs in the period 2007-2013. These were analysed against the conceptual background outlined by the European Commission and the international literature on the interactive approach to innovation processes (EC, 2013).
