Este estudio proporciona, evidencias claras acerca de las bondades de las ECAS y de los impactos que pueden lograrse a partir de su uso apropiado, lo cual confirma y refuerza la importancia de trabajar fuertemente en la promoción y uso de las mismas como herramienta poderosa para la gestión del conocimiento en el marco del desarrollo rural sostenible a escala local y territorial.
Este trabajo buscó analizar la apropiación y aplicación de conocimientos y habilidades de familias cacaoteras que participaron en escuelas de campo en Bocas del Toro, Panamá.
Este documento consta de nueve cápsulas de género, y tiene por finalidad contribuir a la implementación de la estrategia de género y equidad del MAP, en sus cuatro ejes de acción. En cuanto al eje de acción 1, las cápsulas se emplean en las ECAS como espacios de gestión de conocimiento; en el eje de acción 2, el documento mismo es una herramienta metodológica; en el eje de acción 3, este documento de uso amplio y masivo, ha sido diseñado colectivamente en el MAP, y en el eje de acción 4, el documento se enfoca a lo interno del programa, pero también en socios claves.
The new challenges facing the European agricultural and rural sectors call for a review of the links between knowledge production and its use to foster innovation, and for a deeper analysis of the potential of the current Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems (AKIS) to react to the evolving context. This paper highlights how the Italian AKIS places itself in the new emerging framework, with a particular emphasis on the incentives guiding the system and the experiences of monitoring and evaluating the national AKIS policy.
In order to realize the potential of agricultural innovation in family farming, national priorities of sustainably increasing food production and productivity, and reducing hunger and poverty, require rural knowledge institutions to be stronger and communication processes to be improved. This report is based on the outputs of a one week Exposure and Exchange Programme (EEP) in India hosted by the Self-employed Women’s Association (SEWA) with African women leaders of producer organizations from West and Central Africa.
