El presente artículo tiene como objetivo principal, analizar la cadena agroalimentaria de conservas de tomate natural en la provincia de Matanzas. En la actualidad existen deficiencias en el abastecimiento de alimentos en las cadenas cubanas, se hace necesario mostrar una solución inmediata para elevar la producción y disminuir las brechas en la logística que une la producción primaria con las redes comercializadoras, para ofrecer los alimentos frescos o procesados a los consumidores.
El presente trabajo describe como en el desarrollo de los procesos humanos y productivos de las empresas rurales interviene en la creación de redes de conocimiento, a través del estudio de dos casos, dirigidos por mujeres, cuyo giro es completamente diferente. Así mismo, plantea como el crecimiento de estos negocios ha dado respuesta al generar empleo y autoempleo a quiénes se esforzaron por progresar junto con sus familias, aprovechando los recursos naturales y preservando las raíces culturales que distinguen a sus comunidades

A Partnership Agreement between AGRINATURA-EEIG and FAO was formalized and signed, and practical coordination mechanisms established. A Specific Power of Attorney between AGRINATURA-EEIG members within CDAIS was created, agreed and signed by all members, serving as the consortium agreement among members.
According to the literature on regime tran-sition, niches are sources of innovation that may lead to the transformation of the dominant regime, if pro-cesses at other level of the system –the landscape and the mainstream regime -are supportive. A focus on actors involved in the transition process and the analysis of their specific role in knowledge networks can help assessing the robustness of a specific niche and its growth potential. Knowledge systems, and in particular the dynamics of local and expert knowledge, have in fact a key role in innovation mod-els.
Increasing of agriculture products is of importance so that research and development in this branch considers as one of the most important infrastructure which develops production growth. Agriculture provides new and improved findings regarding inputs and production methods hence R&D efficiency increases and leads to potential creation in increasing of agriculture products and reduces pressure on natural resources.

Agricultural innovation in low-income tropical countries contributes to a more effective and sustainable use of natural resources and reduces hunger and poverty through economic development in rural areas. Yet, despite numerous recent public and private initiatives to develop capacities for agricultural innovation, such initiatives are often not well aligned with national efforts to revive existing Agricultural Innovation Systems (AIS).
