The aim of this study was to identify the actors involved in the innovation system producers of corn Mexico Center Region, highlighting the role of the actors of institutional support in adoption of innovations. To do this, 490 corn producers served within the framework of MasAgro 2012 program, in the states of Guerrero, Hidalgo, Puebla, Morelos, State of Mexico and Tlaxcala were interviewed. The degree of adoption of innovations was measured, and using the methodology of social network analysis linking between actors analyzed.
La agenda técnica del IICA, definida en su Plan de Mediano Plazo 2015-2018, se basa en la focalización de nuevos temas, en el logro de resultados y alianzas estratégicas con otros organismos nacionales e internacionales con países miembros, así como con países cooperantes, para potenciar la capacidad de respuesta del instituto a las demandas de cooperación técnica de los países, que son cada día más complejas.
En este artículo se presenta brevemente un panorama de las principales áreas temáticas abordadas en 14 encuentros realizados por la Asociación Latino-Iberoamericana de Gestión Tecnológica (ALTEC). Ester encuentros constituyen en uno de los espacios más importantes en esta región para la discusión de la investigación en la disciplina de la gestión de la innovación y la tecnología esa asociación desde 1985 hasta el año 2011.
La innovación es una condición fundamental para un crecimiento económico sostenido, que reduzca las disparidades sociales existentes en el país y permita un uso sustentable de sus recursos naturales.

The "maquey pulquero" (Agave mapisaga and A. salmiana) is produced and used in central mexico to make a traditional fermented beverage known as pulque, which has been made and consumed since pre-Hispanic times and is still a form of subsistence for rural families.

El maguey pulquero (Agave mapisaga y A. salmiana) se produce y se utiliza en el centro de México para realizar una bebida fermentada tradicional, conocida como pulque, que se elabora y consume desde la época prehispánica, y que aún es una forma de subsistencia para familias rurales.
The purposes of this course are to review the major reforms being considered internationally that aim to change the policy and institutional structure and operations of public sector agricultural extension systems, and to examine the advantages and disadvantages of each of these reforms as illustrated by the selected case studies. Aside from the introductory chapter, the course is organized into nine modules, which are conceived as part of a larger framework.
The present report is based on the authors' visits to Bolivia, Honduras and Nicaragua, during June-August 2004 in order to develop an initial understanding of innovation processes and identifying stakeholders working with national innovation processes. It also review the experiences of the invited Latin American participants in the 7th Global Conference of Competitiveness Institute (entitled "Building Innovative Clusters for Competitive Advantage") in September 2004 and finally presents suggestion for further activities.
According to the authors of this paper, actual methods of scaling are rather empirical and based on the premise of ‘find out what works in one place and do more of the same, in another place’. These methods thus would not sufficiently take into account complex realities beyond the concepts of innovation transfer, dissemination, diffusion and adoption. As a consequence, scaling initiatives often do not produce the desired effect.

It introduces the background, case study competition process, case study characterization and readers’ guide, and book outline. Characterization of the case studies includes their geographical spread, age and life stage of the platforms, and specific information on the multi-stakeholder processes, the content matter, platform support functions, and outcomes and impacts.
