La agricultura familiar de los países del Sur constituye uno de los sectores más directamente afectados y amenazados por los cambios climáticos. La cuestión de la adaptación, y en particular, la de la adaptación de la agricultura, ha ido ganando terreno en el transcurso de la última década en las agendas políticas nacionales e internacionales.

Depuis une dizaine d’années, SOS Faim développe avec ses partenaires latino-américains, une nouvelle stratégie pour endiguer la pauvreté rurale : le développement territorial rural (DTR). On peut définir le DTR comme étant une dynamique d’animation et de concertation entre acteurs publics et privés (entre autres les Organisations Paysannes) sur un territoire donné, en vue d’améliorer durablement les conditions économiques et sociales de sa population.

This report presents the results of an assessment of capacity within agricultural extension and advisory services, undertaken in Telangana State, India, with the global capacity needs assessment (GCNA) methodology developed by FAO and GFRAS.
