This study was set out to describe the operation of the agricultural multi-stakeholder platforms and assess the impact of their activities on the production and revenue of the different beneficiaries. The required data was collected from 285 stakeholders using structured questionnaires. En este artículo se brinda el procedimiento para implementar el Modelo de Gestión Tecnológica en la relación universidadempresa estatal ganadera cubana y su validación en el estudio de caso Universidad de Pinar del Río y Empresa Pecuaria Genética Camilo Cienfuegos. El procedimiento constó de cuatro fases, con sus correspondientes pasos (ocho); además, se identificaron 18 indicadores, considerados relevantes para la gestión tecnológica en la relación universidad-empresa, organizados en cuatro dimensiones: retroalimentación institucional, económico-productiva, ambiental y pertinencia social.

Public-private partnerships (PPPs) have become a popular tool for governing rural development in a European context. PPPs are often presented as significant solutions for increasing both the effectiveness (problem-solving capacity) and the legitimacy of sustainable rural governance in terms of participation and accountability. In Sweden, where PPPs have played a marginal role, due to the EU cohesion policy they are now gaining ground as a model for the governance and management of natural resources in rural areas.
The purpose of the study was to try and get a snapshot of broad patterns and trends, identify emerging issues that warrant further investigation and, more importantly, use these initial findings to start a wider discussion on business-led innovation and the SDGs, and the pathway for accelerating this.The survey was sent out to all members of Global Initiatives Responsible Business Forum (RBF) Network in November 2016.
This paper discusses external influences on innovation platforms (IPs) and the options for effective responses. The platforms examined in this paper were conceived as vehicles for facilitating institutional change in support of innovation that benefits smallholders, in selected agro-enterprise domains in Benin, Ghana and Mali. They were designed and implemented in a manner that enabled experimentation with processes of change in the selected domains.
Agricultural research continues to be a good investment. The studies show that investments in international and national agricultural research account for almost all of the total factor productivity (TFP) growth in SSA and large shares of agricultural growth globally. The existing agricultural research institutions have, on average, delivered rates of return to public investment above 30-40%, which is much higher than the 5-10% available to other public investments or the 2-5% cost of borrowing public funds.
The objective of this report is to assess the usefulness of providing guidance for scaling up good practices in core ARD business lines, and to test the prospects for doing so. The output of the document is a guide for a systematic discussion on scaling up of Competitive Grant Schemes (CGSs) for agricultural research and extension at key decision points during the life of an ARD project. This report addresses the other end of the state-of-practice spectrum - good practices and beyond.
