La ganadería extractiva tradicional debe migrar a modelos sostenibles, sustentables y amigables con el ambiente, como los sistemas silvopastoriles. En estos se mezcla la producción de pasturas mejoradas, arbustos y árboles como fuentes de alimento y confort para los animales. La implementación y mantenimiento de estos sistemas requieren de un centro de reproducción y replicación de plantas para la reforestación y, por ello, el vivero es el punto de partida del cambio del modelo productivo ganadero tradicional a la ganadería regenerativa.
This book discusses the role of inclusive innovation for development in rural India. Innovation is often presented as one of the main catalysts for more sustainable and inclusive development. In the agricultural and food sectors, innovation is characterized not only by specificities arising from its relationship to nature, but also from the wide diversity of its stakeholders, ranging from farmers to consumers, and including intermediaries such as the research community and advisory services. Innovation emerges from interactions between these actors, who mobilize resources and produce knowledge in collaborative mechanisms in orderto generate changes.
