Biotechnologie, Agronomie, Société et Environnement/Biotechnology, Agronomy, Society and Environment (BASE)

BASE publishes original papers in the fields of life sciences: environmental science and technology, forest and natural space management, agronomical science, and chemistry and bio-industries. BASE publishes papers written in French or in English. Titles, abstracts, keywords and captions are written in both languages. Published by the non-profit organization les Presses agronomiques de Gembloux, BASE comes under the scientific authority of Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech (GxABT) - University of Liege (ULg) and of the Walloon Agricultural Research Centre (CRA-W). BASE is also funded by the Public Service of Wallonia (SPW - APE service). BASE has been published since 1932, under various titles: from 1932 to 1965, it was published under the title "Bulletin de l'Institut Agronomique et des Stations de Recherches de Gembloux" and from 1966 to 1995 under the title "Bulletin des Recherches Agronomiques de Gembloux" (ISSN 0435-2033). Volume 1 of BASE was published in 1997.
