The Italian Association of Agricultural and Applied Economics (AIEAA) aims to stimulate research and scientific debate on the “Bioeconomy”, in which agricultural economics and policy are integrated in a multidisciplinary context. The research themes addressed include environmental resource management, sustainable development, local and international development, food quality and safety, food consumption and retailing, industrial organization and technological innovation in the food sector. AIEAA organizes an annual international congress addressing these themes and publishes Bio-based and Applied Economics (BAE) as official scientific journal.
