Este documento presenta la propuesta de directrices para el Monitoreo Comunitario Participativo en Colombia, que incluye elementos para la integración de la información registrada a nivel local con el Sistema Nacional de Monitoreo Forestal liderado por el IDEAM (SMByC). Para formular estas pautas, la construcción colectiva con comunidades que habitan y son propietarias de la mayoría de los bosques del país, las organizaciones no gubernamentales (ONG) y la cooperación internacional fue clave.

El objetivo de esta investigación fue identificar las causas de la baja apropiación de las tecnologías para la renovación de cafetales en este municipio de Cundinamarca. Desde el punto de vista metodológico se escogió el enfoque sistémico, el método de análisis fue el descriptivo cualitativo y la identificación de información se hizo de fuentes secundarias y primarias mediante observación y entrevistas a extensionistas y caficultores cuyas fincas tuviesen lotes de café tradicional y tecnificado.
This article analyses spatial innovation dispersion and also level of innovation development across the crop sector. For this, five crude indicators viz. Mechanisation indicator, Vulnerability indicator, Concentration indicator, Stability indicator and Adoption indicator were constructed which determined the direction of innovation. El objetivo del trabajo fue obtener información básica sobre la producción y los retornos económicos de la habichuela larga en el Caribe Húmedo de Colombia en el año 2018. No se evidencian trabajos anteriores en materia de caracterización tecnológica y socioeconómica. La información se obtuvo de una encuesta estructurada aplicada mediante el método de muestreo aleatorio simple a 16 productores de habichuela larga. Los retornos económicos se calcularon empleando patrones de costos y técnicas de análisis económico de rentabilidad

Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) is a single-window institutional arrangement for technology and information dissemination at the district level and an attempt was made to assess the dairy extension system in the context of ATMA in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh during 2016. The study revealed that along with organized dairy extension services, ATMA is an important alternative to provide extension services to the dairy sector as animal husbandry sector is an existing allied sector for the ATMA.
This chapter examines the current state of agricultural extension reforms and their linkages to the agricultural research system reforms in India and identifies the policy options and strategic priorities for making it relevant, responsive, and efficient. It explores how the National Agriculture Research Systems (NARS) responded with its own set of reforms that were sought to increase its relevance and its linkages to the extension system reforms.
