En este artículo se brinda el procedimiento para implementar el Modelo de Gestión Tecnológica en la relación universidadempresa estatal ganadera cubana y su validación en el estudio de caso Universidad de Pinar del Río y Empresa Pecuaria Genética Camilo Cienfuegos. El procedimiento constó de cuatro fases, con sus correspondientes pasos (ocho); además, se identificaron 18 indicadores, considerados relevantes para la gestión tecnológica en la relación universidad-empresa, organizados en cuatro dimensiones: retroalimentación institucional, económico-productiva, ambiental y pertinencia social.
The 2021 Global Report on Food Crises (GRFC 2021) highlights the remarkably high severity and numbers of people in Crisis or worse (IPC/CH Phase 3 or above) or equivalent in 55 countries/territories, driven by persistent conflict, pre-existing and COVID-19-related economic shocks, and weather extremes. The number identified in the 2021 edition is the highest in the report’s five-year existence. The report is produced by the Global Network against Food Crises (which includes WFP), an international alliance working to address the root causes of extreme hunger.
Good agricultural practices (GAPs) are an indispensable tool for risk management due to the close relationship between agriculture and climate, as well as the climate variability currently being experienced. The implementation of these tools, however, involves fostering innovation, increasing knowledge and giving stakeholders, small producers in particular, a holistic view, so that they may improve their production systems, increase their resilience, and ensure their sustainability.
African indigenous vegetables (AIVs) have the potential to increase food and nutritional security and contribute to improved livelihoods, but farmers’ capacity to meet the growing demand for them has been constrained by a lack of good quality seed and technical knowhow. The guide focuses on equity and on how land tenure can be governed in ways that address the different needs and priorities of women and men.

This report highlights the great potential of the agribusiness sector in Africa by drawing on experience in Africa as well as other regions. The evidence demonstrates that good policies, a conducive business environment, and strategic support from governments can help agribusiness reach its potential. Africa is now at a crossroads, from which it can take concrete steps to realize its potential or continue to lose competitiveness, missing a major opportunity for increased growth, employment, and food security. The report pursues several lines of analysis.
El objetivo general de la guía es generar las competencias necesarias para que los técnicos del MIDA puedan formular proyectos con base en los principios de la planificación estratégica y de la gestión por resultados. De manera específica, se pretende que los lectores puedan:Aplicar correctamente la metodología de marco lógico; Establecer indicadores adecuados; Incorporar la gestión de riesgos; Implementar la gestión por resultados y mejorar la sistematización de información para el monitoreo y seguimiento.
This set of guidance notes is designed to support practitioners and evaluators in conducting retrospective evaluations of a capacity development intervention or portfolio to assess and document results. Users will enhance their understanding of the capacity development process, of what works and what does not work in promoting change and to inform future programs. The standard M&E approach for assessing capacity development results has not been sufficient.
