Este panfleto describe las alianzas entre el Centro Internacional de la Papa (CIP) y las empresas y instituiciones. Con más de 45 años de experiencia en investigación en papa, camote y raíces y tubérculos andinos, el CIP pone a disposición de la comunidad científica y empresarial su gran capital intelectual, experiencia, competencias y tecnología para atender las necesidades de investigación, desarrollo e innovación (I+D+i) aplicados a la agricultura.
El presente trabajo aborda un tema de importancia estratégica para el sector rural como es la agricultura familiar.

Les infrastructures, la formation et les compétences manquent ; les activités de recherche et développement sont dispersées et insuffisantes. Mais, surtout, les besoins restent mal formalisés et l’offre technologique, impulsée par les pays industrialisés, est peu adaptée aux caractéristiques des agricultures africaines.

Under the REGATTA Initiative (Regional Portal for Technology Transfer and Action against Climate Change in Latin America and Caribbean) this project seeks to develop actions towards vulnerability and adaptation to climate change assessment in agriculture and water resources in the Andes of Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.
Papa Andina began as a regional research program focusing on the Andean potato sectors of Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru, but later shifted its focus to facilitating pro-poor innovation. To accomplish this shift, a number of approaches were developed to foster innovation, by facilitating mutual learning and collective action among individuals and groups with differing, often conflicting, interests.
