Este documento, refleja la experiencia del CIAT en sistematizar experiencias de la iniciativa Alianzas de Aprendizaje (donde confluían distintos actores del mundo de la investigación y el desarollo rural que creían en la idea de que compartir su conocimiento traería un mayor beneficio para ellos mismos y sus beneficiarios)
El objetivo de este documento es revisar de manera crítica el desarrollo, los avances y las dificultades en el proceso de creación de la Alianza de Aprendizaje, así como evaluar su contribución final a la hipótesis inicial de trabajo
Este documento describe brevemente que los desafíos actuales de pobreza, desnutrición, cambio climático, degradación de suelos y pérdida de biodiversidad requieren nuevas soluciones, innovaciones y alianzas más sólidas que puedan tener un mayor impacto. Para responder a estos desafíos, y partiendo de sus mandatos complementarios y su larga colaboración, en 2018, Bioversity International y el CIAT se comprometieron a unir fuerzas y formar una Alianza.
The purpose of this report is to provide some of the groundwork in answering the question of how the CGIAR system and other public agricultural research organisations should adapt and respond to an era of transformation framed by the SDGs. It does this by exploring the way in which this transformation agenda reframes agricultural research and innovation.
