Se espera que este plan sea la hoja de ruta, tanto para los líderes locales, como para los funcionarios de instituciones que apoyan el territorio. Aquí podrán encontrar las prioridades identificadas por los actores y las líneas de acción que se deben seguir para alcanzar los objetivos planteados. No está de más señalar que la puesta en práctica de este plan requiere del esfuerzo mancomunado de todos los actores sociales del territorio, así como de toda la ayuda financiera y técnica que puedan prestar los actores institucionales.

Él es uno de los productores con los que CDAIS y sus socios trabajan en el departamento de Olancho, Honduras, con resultados que ahora se replican a nivel nacional.
The multi-stakeholders Assessment Form is a tool to enable the different actors creating a partnership to ask systematic questions to a potential partner to ensure a good fit with the goal, vision and needs of the partnership. This tool can be used at the development/ starting point phase of the partnership to explore a potential relationship.
The goal of this tool is to help facilitators examine the roles that women and men play in an innovation partnership and to better integrate their specific needs and priorities in the interventions planned for the innovation partnership. Gender analysis of the innovation partnership can also be done throughout project implementation to monitor how men and women are integrated and benefit from the project and to reduce the gender gaps.
This book collects 24 stories of change from the EU-funded CDAIS project. Launched in 2015, the overall objective of CDAIS is to make agricultural innovation systems more efficient and sustainable in meeting the demands of farmers, agri-business and consumers. The stories are about the eight pilot countries - in Africa, Asia and Latin America - in which CDAIS operates. Las Plataformas de Innovación para implementar una Agricultura Sostenible Adaptada al Clima (PIASAC) para los pequeños agricultores fue un proyecto que tenía como objetivo generar conocimientos y capacidades locales sobre cambio climático y construir opciones de adaptación de manera participativa. El proyecto se llevó a cabo en el municipio de Gracias, ubicado en el Corredor Seco de Honduras.
Los artículos reunidos en este volumen se basan en las ponencias presentadas por los expertos que participaron en el seminario internacional “Políticas para la agricultura en América Latina y el Caribe: competitividad, sostenibilidad e inclusión social”, realizado en la sede de la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL) en Santiago los días 6 y 7 de diciembre de 2011.
The success of multi-stakeholder ARD (Agricultural Research for Development) partnerships is often attributed to stakeholder interaction and knowledge exchange, collective learning and establishment of mutual trust between the partners involved. Achieving these outcomes depends very much on the leadership of the partnership, and how this leadership relates to partnership facilitation and also project coordination and/or management. This brief explores the different skills and attitudes required by leaders of ARD partnerships, and how these relate to different contexts.
Inclusion is a key issue for Agricultural Research for Development (ARD). Development goals in and of themselves call for better livelihoods and opportunities for the less privileged actors working in agriculture. They also call for greater equity and balanced representation of the population at an institutional level. This brief focuses on how ARD processes can more sensitively address gender relations and youth issues. Women and young people have distinctive needs and interests which can be less visible within broader “Producer Organizations”, for example.
