The guide reviews the basic concepts of e-learning with a focus on adult learning, and introduces the various activities and roles involved in an e-learning project. The guide covers methodologies and tips for creating interactive content and for facilitating online learning, as well as some of the technologies used to create and deliver e-learning.
This Training of Trainers Manual is designed to help build the capacity of trainers in flash flood risk management, who can then disseminate the knowledge to a larger number of practitioners. The manual presents an eight-day course including a three-day field trip. Detailed lesson plans for 21 sessions are followed by resource materials that will enable the trainers to replicate the course in their own work areas.
This Practical Guide to Capacity Development in a Sector Context has been compiled to accompany Asian Development Bank (ADB)’s Capacity Development Framework and Action Plan. A capacity needs assessment (CNA) is a process for identifying a project’s perceptions (through staff, partners and stakeholders) on various capacity areas that impact the work they do. Dans cet article, à travers l’étude du cas de la filière forêt-bois-papier aquitaine, nous soulignons la nécessité d’intégrer une plus forte prise en compte des ressources naturelles dans les analyses en termes de systèmes d’innovation. Prenant appui sur la principale spécificité de cette filière, à savoir sa forte dépendance à la ressource ligneuse, le présent article est focalisé sur la manière dont cette dépendance configure le système.
