Este instrumento busca contribuir con los países al proceso de formulación de políticas públicas diferenciadas para la agricultura familiar, basado fundamentalmente en la construcción participativa, involucrando a los actores sociales y los agentes públicos en la gestión de su propio desarrollo, considerando la viabilidad técnica y política a las decisiones tomadas y a la implementación de soluciones.
Des changements dans les agendas des politiques publiques des Comités Nationaux de l’Agriculture Familiale des Philippines, du Honduras, du Burkina Faso et du Sénégal seront soutenus techniquement et économiquement. La création d’un nouveau Comité au Tchad sera également appuyée.
Summary of the fourth week of the e-conference "Innovation systems for food security and nutrition: understanding the capacities needed". The e-conference, organized by the Secretariat of the Tropical Agriculture Platform (TAP), is aiming at bringing together the issues of capacity development, agricultural innovation, and food security and nutrition with the objective of developing recommendations for policy-making.
The e-conference started on 18 April and lasted until 13 May 2016.

The article presents indicators of the agricultural industry management system: doing business in a digital and technological transformation from the perspective of an ontological approach. It is important to note that it is impossible to transform under the requirements of the modern world without the introduction of innovation. However, innovation is always marked by financial costs and loss of time, which reduces the innovative activity of organizations in the agricultural sector, and, therefore, determines the diagnosis of innovation and investment policy.
These Proceedings report on the second International Conference of the Convergence of Sciences (CoS) programme in Elmina (2009). The first International Conference was four years earlier in the same location, where it was discussed how to follow up on the findings of the first CoS Programme phase (entitled CoS1 running from 2001 to 2006). The Conference was intended to introduce the focus on “innovation systems”, and how to enhance these systems for smallholder farmers’ development.
The challenges of providing food security for the developing world have perhaps never been so extreme, with the introduction of new technologies being matched by land degradation, water concerns and the often uncertain impacts of a changing climate. In short, we will need to produce more food on less land. Adding to the problem is the distrust and fear around some new technologies – particularly biotechnologies – that have created a divide between scientists and farmers, decision makers and the public. There have been many attempts to bridge these divides, but few success stories.
The international workshop on Agricultural Innovation Systems in Africa (AISA) was held in Nairobi, Kenya, on 29–31 May 2013. La seconde conférence triennale du Forum Global de la Recherche Agricole s’est tenue à Dakar, Sénégal du 22 au 24 mai 2003 (GFAR 2003). Le thème de la conférence était Recherche agricole et innovation rurale au service du développement durable. Le sujet de la conférence était de circonstance en raison de l’attention actuelle du monde sur les questions liées au développement durable et à la recherche en matière d’innovation des processus.
El tema de la Segunda Conferencia Trienal del Foro Global de Investigación Agropecuaria (GFAR) que se celebró en Dakar, Senegal, del 22 al 24 de mayo 2003 (GFAR 2003) versó sobre la Investigación Agrícola y la Innovación Rural en pro del Desarrollo Sostenible. Fue realmente un tema adecuado dado el objetivo global actual y la atención sobre los aspectos del desarrollo sostenible así como el aumento de interés por la investigación en los procesos innovadores.
