Esta herramienta se trata de un análisis constructivo, que lleva la atención del grupo hacia el futuro, lejos del presente y del pasado, donde generalmente se estanca. Se cambia de perspectiva: en vez de buscar una solución, se exploran diferentes posibilidades, y se sale de la negociación de intereses personales, que pueden ser muchos y variados, porque se está pensando en un futuro donde todos tenemos que vivir
La herramienta sobre formulación, monitoreo y evaluación de proyectos se ha diseñado con el propósito de que los participantes puedan identificar oportunidades para el desarrollo de un proyecto y le den seguimiento a este tipo de iniciativas. Se muestra que los proyectos tienen un ciclo de vida, surgen alrededor de la identificación de un problema que se desea solucionar, pasan por la ejecución y evaluación y terminan probablemente con la generación del diseño de otro proyecto.
Esta herramienta busca mejorar los conocimientos y las capacidades de los participantes en el tema de la facilitación, con el objetivo de que ello les permita facilitar procesos de cambio en sus comunidades y/o instituciones. Lo anterior se logrará mediante reflexiones de los propios participantes, las cuales se basarán en sus vivencias y experiencias personales.
This brief argues that policy-makers in ACP countries must engage with young people to ensure that the policy environment reflects their interests and makes the sector attractive to them. Policies that work for and with youth are more likely to attract young people to the sector, injecting dynamism, growth and transformation.

The current study sought to analyse the livelihood impact of innovation platforms on small holders in the study areas based on the previous studies that identified successful Innovation Platforms in Eastern and Western Kenya. The study concentrated on four successful innovation platforms that were identified in a previous study In that study, fifteen innovation platforms were ranked based on a given criterion out of which the four innovation platforms were purposively chosen.

This is done through a case study approach by analysing selected agricultural innovations to determine the strategies used to scale up as well as factors that account for successes or failures of the scaling up.
