El objetivo de este estudio fue fundamentar la propuesta de un modelo de gestión tecnológica en la relación universidad-empresa estatal ganadera cubana. Para ello se diagnosticó el 82,4 % de la población de cinco departamentos en la Universidad de Pinar del Río y el 45,4 % de los directivos en la Empresa Pecuaria Genética Camilo Cienfuegos. El modelo que se propone se concibió como participativo, continuo y flexible, con enfoque sistémico y estratégico; presenta cuatro fases para su implementación.

Desde finales de la década de los ochenta, la humanidad experimenta la ruptura de muchos de los modelos, enfoques y paradigmas que hasta entonces habían guiado los procesos de desarrollo, los que abarcan las dimensiones social, económica, ambiental, tecnológica y política. Esta tesis plantea un análisis comparativo, donde la comunicación estratégica aporta un enfoque multidimensional y situacional, tomando como caso de análisis la interacción en una Estación Experimental del Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria (INTA), organización del estado argentino con base tecnológica. While much has been written about the importance of mainstreaming gender in agricultural value chains (and the challenges inherent in doing so), relatively few studies have provided details on cases in which gender integration 1 has been successful. Inclusion is a key issue for Agricultural Research for Development (ARD). Development goals in and of themselves call for better livelihoods and opportunities for the less privileged actors working in agriculture. They also call for greater equity and balanced representation of the population at an institutional level. This brief focuses on how ARD processes can more sensitively address gender relations and youth issues. Women and young people have distinctive needs and interests which can be less visible within broader “Producer Organizations”, for example.
