Ante la poca oferta de textos que, aplicando los conceptos de marketing al área de los Agronegocios, indiquen cómo detectar oportunidades de mercado, se presenta una propuesta sobre cómo ayudar al estudiante en estos aspectos. This paper investigates the current research on how consumers select the foods they buy and how they define ‘quality’. Consumer decisions are complex and whilst a few consumers prioritise local above all other factors when selecting food, for most local is simply one of multiple factors which influence the food choices they make. Short Food Chains are not necessarily local but are based on supply chains with fewer steps in the chain from producer to consumer. Short Food Chains ensure that
This paper makes a contribution to understanding the impact of relational trust, as embodied within bonding, bridging and linking social capital, on rural innovation. Using cases of multi-stakeholder groups who work together on shared problems it explores how social capital and different forms of trust (companion, competence and commitment) influence rural innovation processes. Looking at both the ‘bright’ and ‘dark’ side of social capital, our focus is on how social capital and trust constrain and enable the process of innovation.

This work has largely focused on the developed world, yet the majority of people and future economic growth lies in the developing world. Further, most research examines micro data on consumers or firms, limiting what is known regarding the role of macro factors on diffusion, such as social systems. Addressing these limitations, this research provides the first high-level insights into how green building adoption is occurring in developing countries.
In this article, wes developed a quantitative model to compare HT and CF supply chain finance schemes with each other and with traditional, fixed-price delivery contracts, which we identify as Soft Tolling (ST). We make this comparison in the setting of a three-echelon agricultural supply chain, where the third echelon is a large, creditworthy food/beverage manufacturer. This article proceeds as follows: the next section discusses related literature. Section 3 presents our model of an agricultural supply chain and the three specific contract variants (ST, HT, or CF) that we study.
The innovations of this paper lie in the establishment of a multi-product supply chain model composing of a farmer cooperative and a supermarket in which the farmer cooperative supply multiple types of agricultural products to the supermarkets rather than single type of agricultural product. The study started by studying the optimal decision-making behavior of the members of the supply chain in non-coordinated modequantitatively. Then, was applied the revenue-sharing contract to coordinate the mode.
