In terms of macroeconomic and geopolitical instability, in order to increase the competitiveness of agro-food complex of the Russian Federation in world food markets, a scientifically based choice of institutional solutions is required to increase innovative activity in the agricultural sector and to ensure the transfer of technologies used in industries related to agriculture.
Given the diversity and context-specificity of innovation systems approaches, in March 2007 the World Bank organized a workshop in which about 80 experts (representing donor agencies, development and related agencies, academia, and the World Bank) took stock of recent experiences with innovation systems in agriculture and reconsidered strategies for their future development. Face à la dégradation des ressources naturelles, opter vivre dans son milieu natal et s'assurer une bonne production agropastorale nécessite de la part des acteurs des actions concertées. Le projet Fertipartenaires aide les producteurs de cette province à se concerter, à réfléchir à leurs problèmes, proposer et expérimenter des solutions et les évaluer afin d'améliorer leur sécurité alimentaire.
Si elle ne prend pas en compte le secteur de la transformation qui la connecte aux marchés, l’agriculture vivrière commerciale ne sera pas en mesure de relever les défis de sécurité et de souveraineté alimentaires des pays ouest-africains. Para el PDRR la agricultura familiar necesita de nuevos y fortalecidos sistemas locales de innovación que sean especializados para su actividad, esto requiere de una agenda planificada desde los territorios con el fin de atender las demandas de los productores familiares.

In this paper is proposed to conduct a first stage AKIS diagnostic exercise developing a map of the system of the actors involved in water quality protection and catchment management that interact with the farming community. Specifically we will use the tool to understand: (a) Who are the players? (b) What roles do they have? (c) what is their position in the Innovation System. A key part in changing the regulatory or public incentive system is to change the behaviour not only of the farmers but also of the policy makers to facilitate the movement to a more localised approach.
