El presente estudio muestra las principales características socio-productivas de la red agroalimentaria mencionada, la identificación de etapas, agentes y actividades (primarias y de soporte), y el análisis de los mecanismos que la gobiernan; para lo cual se empleó una metodología sistémica que permitió caracterizar la mencionada red, y en donde se determinó que presenta ventajas como la inclusión de mujeres a la etapa productiva, y el sentido de asociatividad de procesadores y distribuidores
El objetivo del trabajo fue obtener información básica sobre la producción y los retornos económicos de la habichuela larga en el Caribe Húmedo de Colombia en el año 2018. No se evidencian trabajos anteriores en materia de caracterización tecnológica y socioeconómica. La información se obtuvo de una encuesta estructurada aplicada mediante el método de muestreo aleatorio simple a 16 productores de habichuela larga. Los retornos económicos se calcularon empleando patrones de costos y técnicas de análisis económico de rentabilidad
Este trabajo da cuenta de las diferencias y similitudes de los enfoques de extensión rural que han utilizado la universidad de caldas y la Asociación Hortifrutícola de colombia (Asohofrucol), durante los últimos seis años, con productores de mora de los municipios de Aranzazu y manzanares (caldas).

The goal of the Capacity Development for Agricultural Innovation Systems (CDAIS) project is to promote innovation that meets the needs of small farmers, small and medium-sized agribusiness, and consumers.
The visioning process brings together representatives of actor groups within the agricultural innovation systems (AIS) to build on their common understanding of AIS and the need for a coordinated approach. The process involves a wide spectrum of interested parties including ministries, legislative bodies and representatives of the private sector plus development partners and civil society.
Capacity needs assessment is at the core of the cycle of the TAP Common Framework and it is fundamental to strengthening the agricultural innovation systems (AIS). The Assessment aims to ascertain the level of technical and functional capacity, and in particular the capacity to adapt and respond in the various dimensions. The capacity needs assessment will provide an analysis across the sector to inform the setting of priorities and development of strategic capacity development (CD) interventions.
