La Gestión de Tecnología e Innovación (GTI) juega un papel crucial en el avance del sector agropecuario de una nación, ya que promueve el mejoramiento de la productividad y competitividad en todas las regiones, consolidándose como una herramienta fundamental en su desarrollo. El propósito central de este estudio es proponer una nueva perspectiva en la gestión de la tecnología y la innovación para las Unidades de Producción Agropecuaria (UPA) de la provincia de Cotopaxi, presentando así una alternativa innovadora que busca resolver los retos existentes y futuros en esta materia.
Women empowerment through increasing the access of resources in local situation is the highlighted issue in the present context. Women involve in different types of activities in agricultural sphere and shoulder the responsibility in playing the roles of different actors in agricultural innovation system. The dimension of agricultural innovation always prefers to go along with the concepts of the dynamics around different activities and roles that poor women communities engaging towards addressing their social and economic needs through agricultural production system.
Latin America has historically been a vanguard of agroecology. In Nicaragua, an agroecological transition is occurring, with three decades of building a groundswell based on the farmer-to-farmer movement and the recent institutionalization of agroecology in national law. Yet, problems remain with agroecology’s diffusion. We introduce the Technological Innovation Systems approach to examine systemic barriers to the agroecological transition and cycles of blockages caused by barriers’ interactions.

Then, one of the main types of intermediaries, facilitators is outlined based on a comprehensive review of the literature, particularly in the healthcare sector.

This paper explores the potential of the multi-strata design used in edible forest gardens based on studies during the establishment of edible forest gardens (the first four years) in the agricultural settings of a group of participating farms in Sweden. The design and species composition of such gardens, the kind of food they may provide, and how they would best fit into the present landscape are discussed.

Despite the growing body of literature in both innovation research and in values and aims, what has been explored to a lesser extent is the bridging link between these areas. Citizen science is the involvement of citizens, such as farmers, in the research process. Citizen science has become increasingly popular recently, supported by the proliferation of mobile communication technologies such as smartphones. However, citizen science methodologies have not yet been widely adopted in agricultural research. Here, was conducted an online survey with 57 British and French farmers in 2014.
La Tunisie cherche à réorienter ses politiques d'Aménagement et de conservation des eaux et des sols (ACES) afin qu'elles gagnent en efficacité, en s'appuyant sur des démarches participatives innovantes. Cette orientation s'inscrit dans des contextes ruraux souvent peu documentés où la dimension environnementale nécessite d'être objectivée. De plus, il existe peu d'espaces de dialogue et de concertation entre les principales catégories d'acteurs des espaces ruraux concernés.
