There are 260 000 producers involved in agricultural production.

The proposed timeframe for the curriculum is three years. This guide aims to provide the elements required to apply the FFS methodology by employing a comprehensive farm management approach. The innovative perspective of this guide motivates learning beyond one crop and encourages understanding of the farm as a system. Diagnostic tools address the productive status of the various components of the farm and utilizes a planning matrix and future mapping.
Honduras según proyecciones del Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas (INE para el 2019), posee una población total de 9,158,345 habitantes. De los datos oficiales, se resalta que un alto porcentaje es población rural (45.2%), y población femenina (51.3%), mientras que la población joven equivale a un 59%1 . Estos escenarios propician la caracterización de Honduras como un país femenino, joven e inequitativo.
