El Curso Masivo en Línea (MOOC) gratis sobre la Gestión de Datos Abiertos en Agricultura y Nutrición fue creado originalmente en el año 2016. El curso fue dado 5 veces entre Noviembre del 2017 y noviembre del 2018, alcanzando a más de 5000 personas mundialmente, antes de ser hecho disponible para su uso sin restricciones.

This paper is a case study of a network that combined participatory approaches to propose best suited knowledge management (KM) interventions for its member countries. A five-step exercise used existing elements of the alliance’s strategy, a KM survey and a face-to-face participatory validation of the analysis, to identify gaps in current KM approaches and to collectively point to immediate opportunities for improvement. The KM survey, also referred to as a scan, provided a neutral space for reflection.
This manual aims to guide TOT on FFS on coffee production; a yearlong FFS curriculum is foreseen. Various group diagnostics are introduced such as voting, spider web, problem periodization and ballot box and a sample AESA sheet is provided on coffee as well as information on the distribution of trees to be observed; observations and record making on the shade distribution of coffee and other trees on the plots.
Les démarches paysannes de co-construction d’inno- vations des systèmes agricoles sont apparues depuis soixante-dix ans dans plusieurs régions du monde et ont constitué un tournant dans la manière d’aborder le conseil agricole. En effet, construites en réaction à un mode de conseil agricole "vertical", qui repose sur la transmission des connaissances du technicien à l’agriculteur, ces démarches alternatives ont pour but le développement des paysan(ne)s et de leurs capa- cités à rechercher par eux-mêmes les solutions à leurs problèmes.
Le Sénégal à l’instar des autres pays de la zone sahélienne est très vulnérable au changement climatique (CC). Cette vulnérabilité est liée à la dépendance de sa population rurale à une agriculture pluviale fragilisée par de multiples contraintes structurelles, notamment la variabilité interannuelle et inter-saisonnière des précipitations, la baisse de la fertilité des sols et les difficultés d’accès aux intrants et services agricoles (Albert et Springer, 2004).

It defines the outcomes, outputs and activities of TAP, which are considered instrumental for facilitating effective and sustainable Capacity Development for Agricultural Innovation Systems in tropical areas.
This paper provides background information and introduce the topics of the conference "Innovation systems for food security and nutrition: understanding the capacities needed". Organized by the Tropical Agriculture Platform, the conference aimes at bringing together the issues of capacity development, agricultural innovation, and food security and nutrition with the objective of developing recommendations for policy-making.
